A private service celebrating the life of Doris A. Brandts, 90, of Blue Grass, will be held at a later date. The Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Brandts died Monday, March 29, 2021, at her home.
Doris Packard was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Ankeny, the daughter of Newton and Florence (Newell) Packard.
She married Wilhelm “Bill” Brandts in 1953.
Survivors include her children, Kristina (Ken) Nelson, Blue Grass, Heidi Smith, Parker, Colo., Katherina Brandts, Blue Grass; daughter-in-law, Jill Brandts, Monument, Colo.; Brian (Amber) Donegan, Beaver Dam, Wis.; son-in-law, Bob Smith, Parker, Colo.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her siblings, David (Andrea) Packard, Des Moines, and Virgil (Lisa) Packard, Cottonwood, Ariz.
