A funeral service for Carolyn A. Crews, 86, of Davenport, was held at noon on Monday, Nov. 18, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Crews died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019.
Carolyn Carstensen was born in Davenport, the daughter of Herman and Caroline (LaFeber) Carstensen.
She married Norman Crews on Sept. 23, 1961. He died Oct. 24, 1998.
She worked for Sears Manufacturing for many years, retiring in 1977.
Her hobbies were fishing, camping, cooking, and playing Bingo.
Survivors include her daughters, Deb (Jim) Forsman, Great Falls, Mont., and Lisa Pierce, Davenport; her grandchildren, Ryan Short, Jami Forsman, and R.J. Forsman; and her sisters, Katy, Barbara, and Charlotte.
