A funeral service for Betty Sue Leeman, 76, of Chelsea, Mich., will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 (today), at the Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Visitation was Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Leeman died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at her home.
Betty Gates was born Dec. 18, 1944, in Wynnewood, Okla., the daughter of Wilbert and Grace Viola (Johnston) Gates.
She married Steve Leeman in 1967 in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her children, Beth Ann (Darin) Anderson, Eldridge, and Fredric “Scott” Leeman, Chelsea; four grandchildren; her sisters, Patsy Dobbins, Connie Dotson, and Vickie Eastwood; and a brother-in-law, Richard Rigg.
Memorials may be made to the University of Michigan Hematology Research or to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation.
