La Vonne R. Hinrichs of Davenport quietly celebrated her 90th birthday at home. She requested no special event.
La Vonne Henning was born March 2, 1929, in rural Scott County. She married Henry Hinrichs on May 23, 1947, in McCausland. He passed away in 1995.
She was employed by the McCausland Elevator, as a North Scott school bus driver, and by the Commission on Aging for Senior Iowans (CASI).
She is a member of McCausland United Methodist Church.
She is the mother of Bradley (Pam) Hinrichs of Davenport, and Patricia (John) Andrews of Moline.
Her grandchildren are Jason Hinrichs, Nathan Drechsler, Stacey Craven, and Melissa Andrews. She has eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
