Harvey and Carol Klindt of Bettendorf will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and Harvey’s 80th birthday with an open house on Aug. 29. All friends and relatives are invited to call from 12-4 p.m. at the Izaak Walton League, Davenport. No gifts, please.
Carol Elaine Scherer and Harvey Klindt were married Aug. 21, 1971, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Mr. Klindt is engaged in farming. Mrs. Klindt is a farm wife and homemaker.
They are the parents of David (Sara) Klindt of Bettendorf, and Dan (Jennifer) Klindt of Eldridge. They have two grandchildren, Kylie and Andrew Klindt.
