Jurevitz-Hansen vows said Sept. 12 in Davenport

Lexy Ann Jurevitz and Henry Thomas Hansen, both of Davenport, were united in marriage on Sept. 12, 2020, at the Up Sky Bar at the Current Hotel in Davenport. Mike Terry of Muscatine officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Brady Jurevitz, sister of the bride, and Laura Jurevitz, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Dog of honor was Callisto “Callie” Hansen, pet of the bride and groom. Bridesmaids were Dylan Mueller, Abby Michaelis, Madison Meeker, and Kaitlin Lowder, all friends of the bride. Aubrey Hansen and Veronica “Ronnie” Hansen, nieces of the groom, served as flower girls. Serving the bride as personal attendants were Makenzie Emerson and Isabella Collins, friends of the bride.

Best man was Kyle High of Tennessee, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Tommy “Tug” McCleery of Tennessee, cousin of the groom; Keaton Jurevitz of Davenport, brother of the bride; Mitchell Jurevitz of Port Byron, Ill., brother of the bride; and Kristian Gardiner of Riverdale, friend of the groom. Serving as usher was Nick Voss of Durant, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Brody Jurevitz, nephew of the bride. 

A dinner and dance reception with family and friends was held at the home of Ron and Kristy Hansen. The Iowa Machine Shed catered a family-style dinner, and music was provided by Twisted Mics Music Entertainment. Hannah Arnold Designs was the wedding and reception decorator and florist, along with Blooming Ideas.

Lexy is the daughter of Tracy Jurevitz of Bettendorf, and the late Bob Jurevitz. She is a 2014 graduate of Bettendorf High School and a 2019 graduate of The University of Iowa, Iowa City. She is employed as the events manager for Twisted Mics Music Entertainment and The University Club, Moline.

Henry is the son of Ron and Kristy Hansen of Durant. He is a 2014 graduate of Durant High School and a 2018 graduate of Arizona State University. He is employed as a sales executive for White Distribution and Supply, Muscatine.

Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Paradise in Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Davenport.
