She was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Davenport. She was employed at First Trust Bank (now US Bank) and Kwik Shop, retiring in 2001.
She is a member of the Plus 60 Club and AARP, and enjoys doing crosswords, puzzles, and trivia games.
She is the mother of Lee (Kelly) Zindel, Steve (Valerie) Zindel, Jodi (Ken) Heaton, and Scott (Stacey) Zindel, all of Davenport.
Her grandchildren are Brandon, Tony, Stephanie, Shailyn, Holly, Derek, Nate, and Cassie. She has nine great-grandchildren, with one due in May.
