John and Lolita Dierickx of Long Grove will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Dec. 27. A family dinner was held Dec. 3 at St. Ann’s in Long Grove in their honor.
Lolita McGuire and John Dierickx were married Dec. 27, 1952, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Long Grove.
Mr. Dierickx is a retired farmer.
Mrs. Dierickx retired from the Diocese of Davenport – Family Life in 1995.
They are the parents of John (Ellen Kinsinger) Dierickx of Robins, Iowa, Tom (Janice) Dierickx of Long Beach, Miss., Mary Ann Shultz of Platteville, Wis., Paul (Jayne) Dierickx of Long Grove, Rita (Dennis) Carlson of Waukee, Joe (Barb) Dierickx of Grand Mound, Charles (Lori) Dierickx of Long Grove, Pat (Lora) Dierickx of Long Grove, and Rose (Kevin) Lane of DeWitt. They have 27 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
