Bill and Virginia Haycraft of Eldridge celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on April 23. Social distancing prevented an organized celebration.
Virginia Pescitelli and Bill Haycraft were married April 23, 1955, in Riverton, Ill.
Bill worked for many years in the insurance business, followed by a successful stint building houses in the North Scott community. Virginia retired from Von Maur.
They are the parents of Heather (Hany) Khoury of Eldridge, Jeff (Kelley) Haycraft of Hiawatha, Scott (Kim) Haycraft of Eldridge, Dave (Janet) Haycraft of Eldridge, and Randy (Jodi) Haycraft of LeClaire.
Their grandchildren are Hazel and Olive Khoury, Karen Hammar, Jed Haycraft, Stephanie Boeding, Brie Bell, Shaun Haycraft, and Ben, Matt and Josh Haycraft. They have 10 great-grandchildren.
