Gary and Joni (Beranek) King of Eldridge will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 28.
Kirkwood College placed Gary for a managerial internship at Joni’s parents’ Coast to Coast store in Cedar Rapids, where Joni also worked. They were married two years later in Shueyville. The rest is history!
Gary and Joni are the parents of Corey (Stacie) King of Montgomery, Ohio, and Kristi (Nick) Cummins of Newton.
They are the proud grandparents of Colin and Allyson Cummins and Kylie, Hayden and Tyler King.
The family will be taking a trip to Hawaii to celebrate.
