Eldridge's James Belk joins 150 veterans as Honor Flights resume

The familiar face of James Belk, 89, of Eldridge, a Korean War-era veteran, was among the 150-plus veterans welcomed home at the Quad City International Airport Thursday night, Nov. 4, from the first Quad-Cities Honor Flight in two years, thanks to the pandemic. Jim is surrounded by three of his sons (l-r): Fred, of Donahue; Dan, of Eldridge; and Jim, of Eldridge.
