Dole kicks reporters out of 'Town Hall'

Jan. 3, 1996: Local and national reporters were stunned after they were banned from an open town hall meeting with Republican presidential candidate Sen. Bob Dole at Pleasant Valley High School. The reporters were given no reason for being shut out, and campaign officials later admitted the incident had been a mistake.
