Derryl Baustian of Eldridge will celebrate his 90th birthday with a family dinner and party hosted by his children.
Mr. Baustian was born Nov. 5, 1931, in Eldridge. He and his wife, June, were married Feb. 25, 1956, in Davenport.
He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Oscar Mayer and Case before farming the family farm for over 50 years.
He is the father of Julie (Richard) Bredow of Glendale, Ariz., Lori (Ray) Burroughs and Brenda Baustian (Mike Hector), all of Eldridge.
His grandchildren are Corey (Ashley) Bredow, Jami (Justin) Clark, Jodi (Mike) Bristley, Beth Bredow (Billy Coons), and Amanda (Mark) Schwers. He has four great-grandchildren.
