A Celebration of Life memorial service for Susan Michelle "Sue" Maitlen, 56, of Creston, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at First Baptist Church, 1001 N. Lincoln St., Creston. A luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service. The funeral will be livestreamed at www.powersfh.com. Open visitation with no family present will be held from 2-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the Powers Funeral Home, Creston. Private burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Maitlen died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at Mercy One, Des Moines.
