Bob and Sue Peters of Walcott will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a private family dinner.
Sue Moraetes and Bob Peters were married April 4, 1981, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Mr. Peters retired from Pioneer Hi-Bred, Durant, in 2013. Mrs. Peters retired from Davenport Community Schools in 2011.
They are the parents of Allison (Kyle) Fry of Muscatine, and Adam Peters of Davenport. They have two grandchildren, Juliet and Emmelyn Fry.
