1982: Sandor is new administrator

Aug. 5, 1982: Don Sandor began work as the Eldridge city administrator, having previously served in Elburn, Ill. Sandor was one of 97 applicants for the job, but mayor Frank Pancratz said he was the right man for the job based on his interview. “He seemed like he would be very, very good for us.”
