Wilton Elementary will open preschool and kindergarten registration for the 2020-2021 school year on Feb. 3.
The four-year-old preschool program will run Monday through Friday with three classes. Students must be four by Sept. 15. One class is available in the morning and two classes are available in the afternoon. Tuition is free as we participate in Iowa’s Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program.
Morning preschool times are from 8-11 a.m. (9-11 a.m. on Wednesdays). The first afternoon preschool time is from 12:30-3:15 p.m., and the second afternoon preschool time is 12:10-3:15 p.m.
If you elect to have a child that is kindergarten eligible (age five by Sept. 15) in preschool, you must enroll in the second afternoon preschool time starting at 12:10 p.m. Please go to www.wiltoncsd.org/registration to register for preschool or kindergarten.
If you have a child, or know of a child, who will be five by Sept. 15 and will be in kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year, please go online and register online at www.wiltoncsd.org/registration by March 1.
Friday, March 20 is New Kindergarten Day. Students will be participating in various activities and meet all three teachers. The morning session will run from 8:45-11 a.m. while the afternoon session will run from 12:15-2:30 p.m. When you register your child you may select either the morning session or the afternoon session.
Additional enrollment forms will be handed out on New Kindergarten Day. This additional information needs to be completed and returned to the elementary school by April 3.
