A collision near home plate in Wilton's opening round Class 2A state tournament game with Denver went viral last week. On an inside the park play, Wilton's Cory Anderson collided with Denver catcher Kain Eagle.
Video replays of the collision began circulating on social media and were eventually picked up by ESPN and FS1, with the play being debated on mainstream cable sports shows.
