The following information was received from the office of the Wilton Police Department:

March 8—Police assisted the Durant Ambulance with a medical call at a residence within the 1000 block of West Wate Street. The subject was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.

March 8—Police responded to the 500 block of Pine Street for a stop sign that had been knocked over. City crews were notified and a temporary sign was put up.

March 8—Police responded to a call in the 300 block of West Fourth Street for a disturbance. The subject voluntarily left.

March 8—Police took a report of found property in the 700 block of Maurer Street. The property was retained at the police department.

March 8—Police were dispatched to a building alarm in the 1200 block of West Third Street. The building was cleared and appeared to be in normal order.

March 9—Police performed vacation watches for various residents within Wilton.

March 10—Police responded to the 700 block of East First Street for an unsecured door.

March 10—Police assisted with a medical call in the area of 200 East Wate Street.

March 10—Police attempted to locate a subject in the 100 block of East Fourth Street. Andrew Hilton of Wilton was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

March 10—Police followed up with prior property that was found in the 700 block of Maurer Street. The owner was located and the property was returned to the owner.

March 11—Police performed a business check in the 600 block of West Fifth Street.

March 11—Police received a report of children playing in the roadway. Police were unable to locate.

March 11—Police saw a suspicious vehicle in Westview Park. The subject was OK and just enjoying the weather and listening to the radio.

March 11—Police served a civil paper in the 300 block of East Second Street.

March 11—Police performed a traffic stop because of a stop sign violation at Third and Vine streets. A verbal warning was given.

March 11—Police performed a traffic stop for a brake light and rear light. A verbal warning was given.

March 12—Police responded to a parking problem in the 800 block of Maurer Street.

March 12—Police performed an area check in the 1000 block of Cypress Street.

March 12—Police responded to a business alarm in the 600 block of West Fifth Street. The company canceled the alarm prior to the officer's arrival.

March 12—Police performed a business check in the 600 block of West Fifth Street.

March 13—Police responded to an alarm call on West Wate Street. Police made contact with the homeowner and was advised that everything was OK.

March 13—Police assisted the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office with a call in the county.

March 13—Police assisted the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol with a two-car accident at Highway 6 and Moscow Road.

March 13—Police performed a traffic stop in the 600 block of Third Street. Police issued a citation to Michael Sperry, of Wilton, for no valid driver’s license and failure to provide proof of financial liability.

March 13—Police performed a vehicle unlock in the 400 block of East Fourth Street.

March 13—Police performed a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Summit Street. A citation was issued to Alicia Dusenberry for expired registration.

March 13—Police were dispatched to assist the Muscatine County Sheriff's Office with a reckless driver complaint in the 1100 block of Noble Avenue in Atalissa.

March 14—Police were requested for a public assist at a residence within the 700 block of East First Street. The Muscatine County Deputy assisted the Wilton Police Department.

March 14—Police responded to a residence within the 400 block of East Fifth Street due to a family dispute between sisters. The parties were separated for the night.

March 14—Police responded to a residence within the 300 block of Cedar Street for a subject removal.

March 14—Police responded to a residence within the 300 block of Cedar Street and served a no trespass order.

March 14—Police were called to the intersection of Cedar and West Rose streets for a public assist to block the roadway for a tree dropping.

March 14—A resident came to the police department with concerns about an earlier call. It was referred to the chief for follow up.

March 14—Police performed a traffic stop in the area of West Third Street and Nicolaus Drive for a vehicle with no plates. The vehicle was found to be recently purchased.

March 14—Police responded to a parking problem in the 800 block of West Third Street.

March 14—Police found property in the 100 block of East Fourth Street. The owner was located and the property was returned.

March 14—Police performed a business check in the 100 block of East Fourth Street.

March 14—Police performed a business check in the 300 block of Cedar Street.

Durant

The following information was received from the office of the Durant Police Department:

March 8—Police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 200 block of Ninth Avenue. Minor damaged occurred and information was exchanged.

March 8—Police responded to a dog at large and dog bites in Jaycee Park. A report was initiated.

March 9—Police performed a vehicle inspection at the Durant Police Department for IDOT licensing requirements.

March 9—Police were called for assistance at the community center. Police notified Durant Public Works with a maintenance issue.

March 9—Police responded to harassment threats in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. An officer handled it.

March 10—Police responded to a suspicious person/activity in the 1100 block of Sixth Street.

March 10—Police responded to a parking violation between Fifth Street and Ninth Avenue.

March 10—Police assisted the Durant Ambulance with a medical call. Curfew warnings were issued to juveniles who were out after hours.

March 10—Police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 1100 block of Fifth Street. A 2013 Honda Pilot being operated by Allison Cameron, of Durant, was traveling east on Fifth Street when she struck the back of a 2011 Freightliner garbage truck owned by Oveson Refuse, of Wilton, being operated by Kory Kaufmann, of Wilton. An accident report was completed. Cameron was cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle.

March 10—Police assisted the Bennett Ambulance with a medical call in the 500 block of West Third Avenue.

March 10—Police performed a traffic stop between Fifth Street and Ninth Avenue. Iletha Parker-Tatum, of Davenport, was cited for no seatbelts and no insurance.

March 10—Speak with officer call in the 600 block of Eighth Street.

March 10—Police performed a traffic stop between 13th Avenue and Fifth Street. Gregory Gottsche, of Walcott, was cited for not having a valid driver’s license.

March 11—Police responded to reports of theft at the Durant School. The School Resource Officer handled the reports.

March 11—Police performed a traffic stop at the Durant School. A warning to a student driver on driving habits was given by the School Resource Officer.

March 11—Police responded to a nuisance/abatement call in the 700 block of Fourth Street. A warning for loud music was given.

March 11—Police performed a routine walk through while kids were at Jaycee Park.

March 11—Police performed a traffic stop between West First Avenue and Fifth Street. Frank Eckhardt, of Durant, was cited for expired registration.

March 11—Police conducted a traffic stop between West First Avenue and Fifth Street. A warning for a traffic violation was given.

March 11—Police performed a traffic stop between 13th Avenue and Fifth Street. A warning for a traffic violation was given.

March 12—The School Resource Officer handled a truant student in Stockton.

March 12—Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the Durant and rural Cedar County area. An officer handled it.

March 12—Police responded to a suspicious person/activity in the 1000 block of Eighth Street.

March 12—Speak with officer call at the Durant Police Station.

March 12—Police responded to a trespassing subject at Subway. A no trespass notice was served to the resident.

March 12—Police conducted a traffic stop between First Avenue and Fifth Street. April Wells, of Rock Island, was cited for speed and no insurance.

March 13—Police performed a vehicle inspection at the Durant Police Department for IDOT licensing requirements.

March 13—Police conducted a traffic stop between 14th Avenue and Third Street. A warning for a traffic violation was given.

March 13—Police responded to an animal complaint between Second Avenue and Seventh Street. The animal was unable to be located.

March 13—Speak with officer call at the police department.

March 13—Police performed a welfare check in the 800 block of Ninth Street.

March 13—Police followed up for a curfew warning notice previously served in the 900 block of 12th Avenue.

March 13—Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Third Street. A warning for a traffic violation was given.

March 13—Police performed a traffic stop between Fifth Street and Ninth Avenue. A warning for a traffic violation was given.

March 14—Police performed a bar check at Idle Hour Lanes.

March 14—Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Fifth Avenue. A warning for a traffic violation was given.

March 14—Police gave extra patrol throughout the community.
