Phyllis First of Durant will celebrate her 95th birthday with a family dinner.
Phyllis Giesel was born on March 21, 1923 in Ocheyedan, Iowa, the daughter of John and Angela Giesel. She married Henry First on Aug. 24, 1941. He passed away on Dec. 13, 1984. Phyllis has lived in Durant for 64 years.
Her children are Larry (Liz) First of Mesquite, Nevada and Pat (Rich) Juchter of Wilton.
Phyllis has six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great great-granddaughters.
