Julie Haugen and Jacob Keppy are engaged and will exchange wedding vows in December.
Julie is the daughter of Jim and Mary Haugen of Dows, Iowa. She is a 2009 graduate of Clarion-Goldfield High School. Julie graduated from Iowa State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business. She is pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Upper Iowa University and is currently a substitute teacher in the Durant and Wilton school districts.
Jacob is the son of Loren and Jeantee Keppy of Durant. He is a 2009 graduate of Durant High School and graduated from Iowa State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Jake works for Zoetis as a pork production specialist and is also a seed dealer for Beck’s Hybrids.
