Mr. and Mrs. Ron Dickey of Muscatine will note their 50th wedding anniversary this week. Patricia J. Thompson and Ronald D. Dickey were united in marriage on Feb. 22, 1969 at the Tipton Bible Church.
Ron was employed at Kent Feed in Muscatine until his retirement in 2002. Pat was employed at Kent Feed from 1969 until 1970. She then worked at Oral B from 1991 until retiring in 2007.
The couple go to the First Baptist Church of Muscatine and love fishing, camping and going to see their grandchildren play baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, flag football and wrestle.
Ron and Pat’s children and grandchildren are: Chet (Robin) Dickey, their son Dylan and daughter Sydney of Mitchellville, Iowa; Clint (Sheila) Dickey, their daughter Sydnie, son Caleb and twins Caylee and Cody of Waverly; and Chad (Misty) Dickey, their daughter Caitlin and son Hunter of Muscatine. They have one great-grandchild.
