Meals on wheels

Meals on wheels, a senior nutrition program for Muscatine County residents over 60 years old, is delivering meals to residents in Wilton. Any individual age 60-plus and their spouse of any age can receive daily meals if requested.

A contribution of $5 per meal is suggested, but the agency will work with any individual who cannot afford to pay. Hot meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cold meals are delivered Tuesday and Thursday.

Currently the meals are distributed from the Wilton meal site. Individuals under the age of 60 can still receive meals, but will need to pay the full price.
