Merle and Dianna Wiese of Eldridge celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner with family and friends. The couple was married Sept. 9, 1967, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport.
Their children are Lisa (Richard) Kimrey, Bill (Sara) Wiese, and Timothy Wiese.
Their grandchildren are Sara and Mason, and a surprise due in April of 2018; step-grandchildren, Joshua and Adde; and foster grandchildren, Gunner, Grace, and Galaxy Rose.
