‘Snappy Mistletoe’ wins first in nation for Best Advertising Idea; NSP and affiliated staffers win 13 awards

A promotion conceived by NSP ad manager Jeff Martens and ad designer Erin Gentz which featured editor Scott Campbell as “Snappy Mistletoe” in photos at 16 local businesses, won first place for Best Advertising Idea for weekly newspapers in the National Newspaper Association’s Better Newspaper Contests.
