Marion James “Jim” and Margaret “Lou” Pinter of Princeton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a cake reception. Friends and relatives are invited to call starting at noon on Sunday, Oct. 21, at Hope Church in LeClaire. No gifts, please.
Margaret Lafferty and Marion Pinter were married Oct. 17, 1968, in Bettendorf.
Mr. Pinter was employed as a mechanical engineer at UDL Laboratories in Rockford, Ill. Mrs. Pinter was employed at General Foods in Bettendorf.
They are the parents of Michelle (Jim) Tremethick of Wheatland, and Calvin (Kirsten) Pinter of Amarillo, Texas. They have four grandchildren, Gabrielle (Dallas) Patton, Dakota Tremethick, Logan Pinter, and Alex Pinter. They also have one great-grandchild.
