Picolet-Petersen vows to be exchanged Oct. 20

Shannon Brea Picolet and Ian Michael Petersen, both of Long Grove, are engaged to be married.

Shannon is the daughter of Ron and Kay Picolet of Eldridge. She attended North Scott High School and currently holds a position at ProMax Unlimited as a dealer support specialist.

Ian is the son of Larry and Pam Petersen of Long Grove. He attended North Scott High School, where he first met his bride-to-be. He is employed at Meineke Car Care Center as an auto mechanic.

The couple will be married at 4 p.m. Oct. 20, with the nuptials taking place on the lawn at The Outing Club, Davenport. Following the ceremony, a social hour will be held at 5:30 p.m., followed by an evening of music, food and dancing in the Grand Ballroom at The Outing Club. Invitations have been sent.
