William L. “Bill” Mohr, 58, of rural Donahue, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at his home. Per his request, there will be no services or visitation, and cremation rites have been accorded.
The son of Ned and Norida Mohr of rural Donahue, he played trumpet in the Lancer bands and graduated from North Scott High School and The University of Iowa.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He worked at Lyon & Healy Harps in Chicago, and recently worked as a conductor for Amtrak.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Beth, and a brother, Robert.
