A funeral service for Tillie Mary Lopez, 93, of Sterling, Ill., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 (today), in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation was Tuesday, May 29, from 4-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Lopez died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Rock River Home and Hospice, Sterling.
Tillie Delgado was born May 12, 1925, in Frontenac, Kan., the daughter of Eligio and Carolina (Garcia) Delgado.
She married Louis Lopez on Feb. 17, 1967. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Ronald (Jackie) Gonzales and Mary (Jose) Martinez; her grandchildren, Angie (Shaun) Day, Renee (Mike) Wierzbicki, Jesse (Ashley) Gonzales, Luciana (Scott) Maxwell, Coni (Brian) Duarte, and Lynda (Ray) Eddleman; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Pete (Helen) Delgado, Johnn (Celia) Delgado, Margaret (Michael) Delgado, Mary Jo (Lee) Evans, and Josephine Velasquez.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
