A funeral service for Roy Allen Brock Sr., 79, of Adelanto, Calif., was held at noon on Monday, Oct. 15, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary.
Mr. Brock died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, in Victorville, Calif.
Roy Brock was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Davenport, the son of Roy and Marcella (Devlin) Brock. He attended St. Ambrose Academy.
He married Dixie Hoxsey on March 5, 1957, in Davenport. She preceded him in death.
He worked for Western and South Life Insurance Company until retirement.
Survivors include his children, Roy Brock Jr. and Ronald (Misi) Brock, all of Adelanto, Doreen Anderson, Richard Brock and Robert Brock, all of Davenport, and Randall (Chris Ann) Brock of New Hampshire; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Sharon Brock, Gary (Patricia) Brock and Kenneth (Lorrie) Brock.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by twin granddaughters, Sara Lee and Marie Joi Brock; and a great-grandson, Zaiden Gage Brock.
