A private service for Patsy J. “Pat” Houldsworth, 84, of Davenport, was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, in Grand Island, Fla.
Mrs. Houldsworth died Monday, May 28, 2018, in Tavares, Fla.
Patsy Goodin was born in Rushville, Ill., the daughter of Dorothea (Pelton) and James Goodin.
She married Ernest Houldsworth in July of 1952.
During high school, she worked at Davenport Bank & Trust in downtown Davenport. She later worked at Bendix/Litton Instruments & Life Support Systems as a secretary in the HR department until her retirement in 1990.
Her hobbies were RV camping with her husband, sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, and golfing.
Survivors include her husband; her daughters, Lynne (Daniel) Webber and Teresa Calvert; a son, Ernest Houldsworth Jr.; her grandchildren, Shane Houldsworth, Jason Calvert, Cara Calvert, and Kelsey Webber; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Genevieve Payton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Goodin.
