A funeral service for Patricia Lynn Parris, 84, of Davenport, will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 5 (today), in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Parris died Friday, May 31, 2019.
Patricia Schare was born June 25, 1934, in Clinton, the daughter of Melvin and Charlotte (Coolon) Schare.
She married Jesse Parris on Jan. 6, 1951. He died in 1998.
She worked for many years as a clerk at the Rockingham Drug Store.
Her hobbies were crocheting, reading books, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Barry (Theresa) Parris, David (Mary) Parris, and Lynn (Tom) Carstens; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, David Schare.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Kelling.
