Obituary: Patricia Odom Martin

A funeral service for Patricia Odom Martin, 76, of Walcott, will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 11 (today), in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday at the mortuary.

Mrs. Martin died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her home.

Patricia Chavez was born Jan. 2, 1942, in Moline, the daughter of Jose and Alma Chavez.

She married William Odom. They later divorced. She later married Raymond Martin on Aug. 1, 1992, in Davenport. He preceded her in death.

In addition to raising her children, she had been employed at Scotty’s Auction, selling Avon, Hungry Hobo, and later at her husband Raymond’s business, All Pro Custom Tattoo, in Davenport.   

Her hobbies were spending time with her family and attending Antique Custom Rod Shows and showing antique cars with her husband.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa (Juaquin) Torres, Davenport, and Brenda (Mike) Buehneman, Sigourney, Iowa; her sons, Curtis Odom (Theresa Saldivar), Davenport, Dale Odom (fiancée Mari Caballero), Wood River, Ill., and Ken Odom (Karen Carstensen), Coralville; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita (Dale) Hesser, Las Vegas, Nev.; and a brother, Jose Chavez, Huntington Beach, Calif.

In addition to her husband Raymond, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Barnhart and Linda Grooms; and a great-grandson, Maysun Odom.
