A funeral service for Nelda N. Dice, 76, a resident of Silvercrest at Garner Farms Senior Living, Davenport, formerly of Blue Grass, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Private family interment was in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton.
Mrs. Dice died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Nelda DeCock was born Oct. 24, 1941, in Long Grove, the daughter of Charles and Norma (Wulf) DeCock. She graduated from North Scott High School in 1959.
She married Keith Dice on Oct. 20, 1973, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Long Grove. He died Jan. 11, 2017.
She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Blue Grass.
Her hobbies were traveling, playing Bingo and cards, and watching sports.
Survivors include a son, Mark Dice (Debbie Theys), Lake Zurich, Ill.; her grandchildren, Bradley Dice and Jocelyn Dice; and her brothers, Richard (Joyce) DeCock, Long Grove, Ronald DeCock, Davenport, Dale (Annabelle) DeCock, Eldridge, and Dennis (Barb) DeCock, Bettendorf.
Memorials may be made to Silvercrest at Garner Farms or St. Andrew Catholic Church.
