A funeral service for Navonne K. Mundt-Day, 87, of Davenport, was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial was in the Durant Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Feb. 1, from 4-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Mundt-Day died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at her home.
Navonne Hansen was born April 17, 1931, in Davenport, the daughter of John and Venita (Weih) Hansen.
She married David Day in 1958 in Reno, Nev. He died Jan. 25, 1992. She later married Robert Mundt on June 3, 1994. He died May 19, 2011.
Her hobbies were spending time with her family, making and selling crafts and craft fairs, knitting, sewing, macramé, beading, ceramics, polka dancing, traveling, taking bus tours, and roller-skating.
Survivors include her children, Rebecca (Dennis) Panozzo, Jon (Deborah) Day, Amy (Brian) Sheridan, and James Day (Leanne Speers); her grandchildren, Joseph, Rachal, Brittany, Amber, Heather, Dylan, Jonathon, Jessica, Timothy, Jason, Daniel, Brent, Molly, Melissa, Breanna, Brooke, Amanda, Dustin, and Shelby; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joleen (Larry) Twachtmann.
Memorials may be made to Community Fellowship Church of Blue Grass.
