A funeral service for Michelle M. “Shelly” Connolly-Dayner, 51, of Davenport, was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation was from noon until the time of the service on Saturday at the mortuary. Burial was Monday, Nov. 5, in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque.
Ms. Connolly-Dayner died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Michelle Connolly was born May 17, 1967, in Dubuque, the daughter of William and Judith (Cullen) Connolly. She graduated from Dubuque Hempstead High School.
She was married to Rick Dayner. They later divorced.
She worked part-time as a bartender for the Gallery and Probstei Inn.
Her hobbies were spending time with family and friends and listening to music.
Survivors include a son, Justin Dayner; her father, William “Bill” Connolly; her siblings, Mike Connolly, Lisa (Dan) Sabatka, and Jeff Connolly; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Brooke.
