A graveside service for Lonald “Lonny” Popejoy, 66, of Davenport, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should be at the Runge Mortuary by 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Popejoy died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, in Davenport.
Lonald Popejoy was born Oct. 10, 1952, in Davenport, the son of John and Doris (Gradin) Popejoy.
He served in the U.S. Army after the Vietnam War.
His hobbies were spending time with his family and working in his yard.
Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Klower, East Moline; his siblings, Cheryl Popejoy, Bettendorf, Tami (Randy) Dies, Bennett, and Steven Popejoy, Davenport; and a special friend, Mickey Tate.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jeanie Blake; and a brother, Bob Popejoy.
