Linda Ann Ramp, 67, of McCausland, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on Monday Oct. 15, at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport.  Services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, also at the funeral home. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to the Hand-in-Hand.

Linda was born to Albert and Joanne Dolder in Aurora, Ill. She graduated from Hinckley-Big Rock High School. Linda married Meredith in 1986 and the two enjoyed 32 years of loving marriage.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She was an amazing homemaker who not only cared for her family by raising her own six children, but spent many years caring for numerous others in her home daycare.  Linda was a creative person who had many interests including sewing, gardening and too many artistic endeavors to count. Her children fondly remember her musical talent and character of persistence. They recall her taking on the challenge of learning Scott Joplin’s ragtime tune “The Entertainer” by playing it bit by bit on the piano until she mastered it. Linda loved celebrating the holidays with family, and it will be at those special occasions where Linda’s cooking and baking will be truly missed.  After decades of caring for children in her home, Linda continued serving others for 13 years at Hy-Vee. She knew the value of hard work and surely passed that character trait on to all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

To honor her memory are her husband, Meredith; children, Heidi (Martin) Lung Menke, Nikki (Will) Ripley, Natalie (Shamus) Budde, Sean (Christy) Lung, Jacqui (Andrew) Whittemore, and Brian (Shelly) Ramp; grandchildren: Nolan, Madalyn, Olive, Ruby, Alexandra, Miles, Marguerite, Amber and Kylee; great-grandchildren: Mia and Tommy, and siblings:  David (Nancy) Dolder, Janet (Randy) Roderick, Bill (Lori) Roderick and Jim (Nora) Roderick.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Kenneth Roderick.
