Private family funeral services were held for LaVonne Little, 85, of Princeton. The McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Little died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at her home.
LaVonne Schafer was born Jan. 5, 1935, in Davenport, the daughter of Earl and Evelyn (Osberberg) Schafer.
She married Larry Little on Oct. 15, 1955, in Davenport. He died May 2, 2013.
She and her husband farmed the family Century Farm together.
She was active for over 50 years in the “Better Late Than Never” card club.
Survivors include her daughters, Kim Fitzgerald, Princeton, and Amy (Mike) Groenenboom, Bettendorf; her sons, Robin (Kathy) Little and Rodney Little, all of Princeton; her grandchildren, Carrie Parrott, Matt Fitzgerald, Brittany Little, Madeline Little, Brett Little, Kelli Little, Lauren Groenenboom, and Ryan Groenenboom; five great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Sonja Negus, Maysville, Shullie Schafer, Davenport, and Dawn Skahill-White, Topeka, Kan.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Greg Little.
Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice or to the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department.
