A funeral service for Joan E. Williams, 86, of Davenport, was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 4, from 4-6 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018.
Joan Puck was born Aug. 17, 1932, in Davenport, the daughter of Waldo and Minnie (Paustian) Puck.
She married Chester Williams on June 26, 1954, in Davenport. He preceded her in death.
She was employed in numerous jobs over the years and retired from JC Penney in 1995.
Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Starrick, Maywood, Ill., and Debb (Randy) Vogel, Bettendorf; her grandchildren, JoDee, Michael, Christopher, Amanda, and Matt; two step-grandchildren, Tony and Nick; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Sharon; and two brothers, Roger and Allen.
