Janette M. Robertson, 95, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Services in celebration of her life were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, where her family greeted friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Maysville Fire Department.

Janette was born in 1922 in Davenport to Herbert and Edith Meyer. She grew up on the Meyer Century Farm just outside Maysville. On Sept. 12, 1942, she married G. Allan Robertson at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1996.

Janette was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed sewing, baking and community volunteering. She was a lifetime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport; a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Pyramid Temple No 10, Scott Co and Hickory Grove Farm Bureau, Women of the Moose, and Maya Kings Daughters.

Those left to honor her memory include daughters Charlotte (John) Monahan of Westminster, Colo., and Doris Swanson of Davenport; sons James (Jeannine) of Prescott, Ariz., John (Judy) of Elmhurst, Ill.; grandchildren Mark, Brian, Steven, Kreg, Kevin, Brendan, Scott and John; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother Edgar (Jean) Meyer of Cashmere, Wash.; and brother-in-law Robert Wilkens of Scottsdale, Ariz. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Warren Meyer, and sister Ardith Wilkens.
