Dwight A. Turkle, 75, of Bettendorf, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, at ManorCare Health Services, Davenport. Cremation took place at Trimble Crematory, Moline. Private burial was in Rock Island National Cemetery.
Dwight Turkle was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Iowa City, the son of William and Bertha (Kruse) Turkle. He graduated from Durant High School.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a daughter, Chaundra Fulrath; and his siblings, Bonnie Frett, Bennett, Marlene (Rudy) Arp, Walcott, Ruth Turkle, Davenport, and Merle Turkle, Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Marion Turkle.
