A funeral service for Dorothy E. Williams, 81, of Davenport, was held at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was Monday, Oct. 7, from 5-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Williams died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Dorothy Million was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Shelby County, Mo., the daughter of John and Zada (Kropf) Million.
She married Dwight Williams Jr. on Oct. 13, 1956, in Monroe County, Mo. They were reunited in marriage on Dec. 18, 1987, in Moberly, Mo. He preceded her in death.
She worked in the cafeteria at Frank L. Smart Junior High School in Davenport.
Her hobbies were gardening, watching television, playing cards, and listening to music.
Survivors include her daughters, Shelly Williams and Stacy (David) Paisley, all of Davenport; her grandchildren, Logan, Ryan, Abby, and Shana; a sister, Doris Jones, Lentner, Mo.; and a brother, Harvey (Louise) Million.
