A memorial service for Dennis James Kinner, 74, of Davenport, was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Eldridge United Methodist Church. Inurnment was in Davenport Memorial Park. The Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Kinner died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at Davenport Lutheran Home.
Dennis Kinner was born July 31, 1941, in Davenport, the son of Henry and Bernice (Butterbaugh) Kinner. He was a 1963 graduate of Davenport Central High School.
He worked as a jeweler for John Benson Jewelers, retiring in 1993 after 20 years of service.
His hobbies were reading and watching movies.
Survivors include his mother, Bernice Kinner, Davenport; a sister, Carol (Alan) Kay, Eldridge; and a sister-in-law, Pamela Kinner, Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Allen.
