Obituary: Carolyn Miller Thompson

A funeral service for Carolyn Miller Thompson, 90, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Central Christian Church, 404 E. Main St., Murfreesboro. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Miller Thompson died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018.

She was the daughter of Harold and Edna (King) Davis, and a native of South Bend, Ind. She attended the University of Indiana.

She married Lloyd Miller and Robert Thompson, who both preceded her in death.

She was a retired bank trust officer.

She was an elder emeritus of Central Christian Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her children, Brian (Celinda) Miller, Murfreesboro, and Lloyd Alan Miller (Traci Carey-Ryan), Broken Arrow, Okla.; and her grandchildren, Jacob Alexander Miller, Nichole Miller, and Natalie Miller.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Myron Davis.
