North Scott Honor Flight with 92 veterans was five years ago

June 4, 2014: Quad City residents, many of them from rural Scott County, turned out by the hundreds at the Quad-City International Airport to welcome home the 92 veterans who took part in the 28th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. The North Scott Honor Flight was sponsored in part by Eldridge’s Edward W. Knapper Post 6174, which raised more than $65,000 for the day-long trip.
