Norm and Barb Rochholz of Wilton will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on July 7. Barbara Cole and Norm Rochholz were married July 7, 1967 at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Walcott.
Norm served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1970 and retired from Qwest Communications in 2007 after 36 years. Barb retired in 2016 from the Wilton-Durant Advocate News after 33 years.
They are the parents of two daughters, Amy (David) Freeborn of Hoschton, Georgia and Carrie (Robert) Arlen of Wilton. They have five grandchildren, Katie (Sam) Ruffin of St. Augustine, Florida; Ashley (Jackson) Hood of Huntsville, Texas; Nathan Freeborn of Hoschton and Ewan and Rhys Arlen of Wilton. There is one great-grandson, Elias Ruffin.
