Leon and Linda Makoben will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dessert reception at the Durant Community Center on Sunday, Sept. 3 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No gifts please. Leon and Linda were united in marriage on Oct. 7, 1967.
Linda is retired from Pilot in Walcott. Leon is president of D & D Fencing in Stockton and also farms.
Their children are Rick Makoben Sr. of West Branch and Stacy (Mike) Noga of Oxford, Ohio.
Leon and Linda’s grandchildren are Rick and Alex Makoben of Wilton and Leah and Abagail Noga of Oxford.
