Leo and Lois Ochiltree of Wilton will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on July 29. Lois Beatty and Leo Ochiltree were united in marriage on July 29, 1967 at Spangler Chapel United Methodist Church in Muscatine.
The couple will be celebrating their anniversary later this fall by taking a once in a lifetime trip to Scotland and England.
Leo retired from the Wilton Post Office in 2005 after 30 years of employment. Lois retired from Liberty Trust & Savings Bank in Durant in 2007 after 37 years of employment.
The couple has two children, Lynn (Brenda) Ochiltree of Winterset and Lisha (David) Martindale of Iowa City. They have three grandchildren: Christian Ochiltree of Winterset and Sebastian and London Martindale of Iowa City.
