Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kroeger
Ray and Joan Kroeger of Davenport will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Joan Schaeffer and Raymond Kroeger were married Aug. 24, 1957, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Ray and Joan farmed in the Durant area for several years. Ray then went to work at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 22 years, and worked several other jobs after that. Joan worked for 26 years with the Bennett Community School District, and also worked several other jobs later.
They are the parents of Allen Kroeger of Wilton, and Linda (Jim) Connell of Davenport. A daughter, Joni, is deceased.
Their grandchildren are Melissa Connell, Nathan (Amanda) Kroger, Andrew (Liz) Kroeger, Zach Connell, and Chris Connell. They have one great-grandchild.
The couple resides at 8 Madison Circle, Davenport, IA 52806.
